Each colour is painted several times in light washes building up layers to enhance the paint. The branches are created with gold and silver spray paint and there are elements of 24ct gold in the artwork, used delicately in the leaves beneath the flowers. 
 
I created paintings of flora in a similar style to complement each other, carefully selecting colours that are contrasting and contemporary.
