Mato Grosso 2 painting is the last in my series of eight birds on gold-leafed birchwood. The artwork is also available at Knightsbridge Fine Art, Epping. The work is part of a collection of Brazillian birds on 24ct gold-leafed birch wood. 
 
The Brazil collection is based on my experience of traveling the coast of Brazil and taking in the breathtaking flora and fauna that I found there.

My passion for design is shown in my artwork and I like to paint botanical work in a contemporary style with the feature in fine art. Colour is key to my artwork and is considered carefully before I create a piece, mixing the exact shades of acrylic paint for the background and flowers, creating balance and harmony within a tranquil, tropical setting.
